Non-log video encoding: If you received a completely black image with the values R: 0.000; G: 0.000; B: 0.000, it is most likely because the video was uploaded not in log encoding. Check your camera settings and repeat the black level and calibration sequence recording. For example: for BlackMagic cameras, the Dynamic Range parameter should be set to "Film."
Incorrect video: If, instead of a uniform gray rectangular, you see a different image, the video file was selected incorrectly. Please repeat uploading with the correct video recording.
Vibrations: If you notice a thin white outline in the difference area on the linearization results, it indicates that the camera or calibrator was not securely mounted during calibration and may have shifted slightly.
Overexposure: If you notice bright colored spots in the difference area on the linearization results, it indicates overexposure in the recorded data. Reduce the exposure settings by 1 stop and repeat the calibration sequence recording.
In some cases, the automatic selector for the sphere and strobe may incorrectly outline the contours. In the example below, the strobe intensity value was too low. Adjust the intensity settings an repeat the calibration
If you see the message "Not all lamps are connected," CyberCaffer has lost connection to the lights configured in the previous step. Please check the connection and re-enter the menu.
If you see the message "The calibrator is disconnected," please reconnect the calibrator. If it doesn't help, please check your network settings. Both the calibrator and PC with CyberGaffer should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
